Doctor Michael K. Matheson was born and raised in Salt Lake City Utah. He attended Olympus High School then the University of Utah where he graduated with honors in Behavioral Science and Health.
Dental School followed (1994-1998) at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in Oklahoma City. While there, Dr. Matheson received graduation honors and awards for research in radiology and for outstanding performance in (pediatric) dentistry. He also completed extra course work in implant dentistry, hospital rotations in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery and an internship with an accomplished general dentist in Edmond Oklahoma. He continues to improve his skills and advance his education. He is board certified with the Western Regional Examining Board.
